All this hype about global warming. It seems everyone has an explanation for it, but until now there was no conclusive evidence.
Well, our CEO, Tom Psillas, has come up with a very compelling answer.
He explains that what is happening is the Earth's mantle is slowly separating from the earth's crust. This is causing the crust to shift around the globe in different directions than the Earth is spinning on its poles, causing the extreme heat in summer and extreme cold in winter.
So, areas like New York, experienced this phenomenon this year. This situation is expected to get worse in coming years. The reason is simple. We are replacing the fossil fuels with water, as we draw upon the oil reserves below. Oil is less likely to mix in with adjacent soils, unlike water. Water softens the crust adjacent to the mantle, causing the separation of crust from mantle; hence the shift.
It is conceivable to have summer weather in New York in mid January, followed by sub zero temperatures 2 weeks later. This will become more common over the next several years, as this processs accelerates.
The implications are massive, as this issue will disrupt plantlife on a global scale. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
OK. Tom was only joking, but maybe some of you believe it is true. Tell us what you think.
